Hours for the week of April 27th - May 1st

The Proctor Library will be open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday of this week. The building will be closed on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, May 4th, summer school hours will be in effect through June 26th. Please see our calendar page for full details regarding our summer hours.

24 hour availability for the Library

In response to specific interest expressed by students groups, the Proctor Library has just decided to stay open during four separate 24-HOUR periods to support students during final projects and exams this semester. This will be a special trial for this semester.

The 24-HOUR days will be as follows:

Wednesday, April 15 – 7:30 a.m. through 7:30 a.m. next morning (Thursday)

Thursday, April 16 – 7:30 a.m. though 7:30 a.m. next morning (Friday)

Sunday, April 19 – 11:00 a.m. though 7:30 a.m. next morning (Monday) – NOT REALLY 24 HOURS BUT PRETTY CLOSE!

Monday, April 20 – 7:30 a.m. though 7:30 a.m. next morning (Tuesday)

The rest of the finals schedule remains the same. The full revised finals schedule for the remaining days is as follows:

Tuesday, April 14: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Wednesday, April 15: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (next day)
Thursday, April 16: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (next day)
Friday, April 17: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Saturday, April 18: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Sunday, April 19: 11:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (next day)
Monday, April 20: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. (next day)
Tuesday, April 21: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Wednesday, April 22: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 a.m.

What to do when you run out of prints

This is the time of year when many students run out of their print allotment. If this happens to you, visit print.flagler.edu. You no longer need to make a special trip to the Business Office. You can instead purchase prints directly through this site. Just sign on the site to get started with your Flagler username and password.

Hours for finals

The Library will be extending operating hours beginning on Monday, April 13 and continuing through Wednesday, April 22. The hours will be the following:

4/13-4/16 (M-TH) : 7:30AM - 2:00AM
4/17 (F) : 7:30AM - 8:00PM
4/18 (SA) : 10:00AM - 8:00PM
4/19 (SU) : 11:00AM - 2:00AM
4/20-4/22 (M-W) : 7:30AM - 2:00AM
4/23-4/24 (TH-F) : 7:30AM - 5:00PM

Upcoming hours for the Library

Next week, Monday through Thursday (April 6th through 9th), the Library will be opening at 7:00 a.m. in order to accommodate students wishing to get in early to use a computer for pre-registration. New videos added in March 2009

A list of the most recent new videos has been added to the Library website. Please see our new videos page to browse the list. The Library's video collection is located in the Audio-Visual (AV) area in the southeast corner of the first floor of the Library. All videos may be checked out and taken home, but 6 televisions connected to DVD/VHS players are also provided in the AV area for user convenience. Headphones are available for checkout at the Circulation desk.

If you are looking for a specific video, please use the Voyager online catalog to search the collection. Our video search tutorial explains the step by step process for using Voyager. Please feel free to seek assistance from a librarian if you encounter any problems.

The Library's most recent new book arrivals can always be found on the New Arrivals shelves located immediately to the right after passing through the entrance gates.
